Fissure

An anal fissure is a small tear or cut in the lining of the anal canal that causes pain and discomfort during or after bowel movements. It commonly occurs due to passing hard stools, chronic constipation, or excessive straining. Though small in size, fissures can cause intense pain and bleeding. With early diagnosis and proper treatment, anal fissures can heal effectively without complications.
